Brian Boles   |  EVP, Network Operations

Mr. Boles brings more than 15 years of network operational experience and technical expertise at the local, regional, and national levels to the SWITCH Management team.  

Prior to joining the firm in 2001, Brian held key positions such as Director of Computer Operations & Networking at DemandTec, Inc. where he directed the engineering and operations of the network, server, and storage infrastructures of this publicly-traded SaaS company. He drove the overall architecture and end-to-end operations infrastructure (which he grew by several hundred percent), had associated budgetary and staffing responsibilities, and reported directly to DemandTec's CIO.

Prior to that work, Mr. Boles was also retained in a hands-on/advisory Senior Networking role for a national ISP, where his leadership was instrumental in deploying the first-ever national VoDSL product to the market. Brian also teamed in the development of the Methods and Procedures processes for network management change control at this firm, demonstrably driving down operational costs while increasing organizational efficiency.  

Mr. Boles also worked at Mirage Resorts in Las Vegas in the position of Senior Network Technician. While at Mirage Resorts, Mr. Boles was also commissioned to managed a team of technicians responsible for the installation, testing, and configuration of all networking equipment required to support the opening and on-going operations of every aspect of Mirage's flagship resort/hotel, Bellagio the most expensive hotel-casino resort ever built in the United States to that date.

Honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps with the rank of Sergeant after four-years of award-winning service to his country, Brian had ongoing responsibilities for network/communications cabling and associated infrastructure for Communications Company, Headquarters Battalion, 1st Marine Division, U.S.M.C.

Raised in Southern California, Mr. Boles majored in Electrical Engineering and can number among his achievements CCNA, MCP, and Network+ certifications.

An avid sports enthusiast, Brian makes his home in North Las Vegas, Nevada.
