Tornados

Although tornadoes occur in many parts of the world, these destructive forces of nature are found most frequently in the United States east of the Rocky Mountains. An F-3 to f-5 tornado in Texas would substantially damage the hundreds of miles of fiber that runs aboveground through its major cities. Even if your data center was never directly hit, the power and communications infrastructure could suffer a major outage due to severe damage from heavy winds and flying debris.
